Since 1991 the biggest cross country MTB race of Austria has been held on the "Heiligenstein"hill at Zöbing, which is probably the most famous "Rieslingwine mountain" in the world. More than 450 mountainbike cyclists participate in this race which is part of the "MTB-Liga AUSTRIA".

In 1999 the race on the Heiligenstein was held as a Europaen Cup (C1) race for the first time. All the local top athletes as well as a lot of leading racing cyclists from all over the world take part in this race. Just to name a few: f.e. the danish XC-world champion Michael Rasmussen, Austrian Champion 2005 Christoph Soukup or Roel Paulissen from Belgium and reigning World Champion Jaroslav Kulhavy (CZE).

Every year the ladies have also been represented by international top athletes, but were lately dominated by the local female cyclists like the Osl Sisters, Maja Wloszczowska (POL) World Champion 2010, World Vice-Champion 2011, Tanja Zakelj (SLO), Slovenian Champion and the strong Tereza Hurikova (CZE).

Also this year the race organizer Günther Kanzler and his team are trying to offer you a perfect race.
